The Faculty of Education of the University of Malta is asking academics and educational researchers and practitioners to send manuscripts to be published in the Journal of Maltese Education Research and in Trends - The Monograph Series.

Articles sent to the journal are expected to make a contribution to knowledge or critical understanding of issues central to Maltese education policy, curriculum reform and pedagogy. They are also expected to be accessible to readers from other sectors and to international readership.

Articles will be reviewed by at least two independent referees.

Manuscripts to be considered for publication should be sent to Carmel Borg, editor of the journal, at the Faculty of Education, University of Malta, Msida.

For further information regarding manuscript format, prospective contributors are invited to consult the journal's website at www.educ.um. edu.mt/jmer.

Trends is a monograph series that aims to contribute to theory development, empirical research, policy formulation and quality improvement in education generally and teacher education, staff development and teaching in particular.

It also offers a means of communication and dissemination of completed research and research in progress while providing a focus for debate between researchers and educationalists.

Submissions and enquiries regarding Trends should be addressed to one of the editors, Christopher Bezzina or Paul Pace, at: christopher.bezzina@um.edu.mt or paul.j.pace@um.edu.mt
