Arnold Cassola, Alternattiva Demokratika's spokesman on EU affairs and general secretary of the European Greens, will, together with Grazia Francescato of Italy, be leading a delegation of European Greens to Moscow later this week.

During the visit, Prof. Cassola and the European Greens will be meeting representatives from various human rights' groups, including the Russian Soldiers' Mothers, the Memoriam Group, that has just been awarded the Sakharov Prize by the European Union, and the Narodnya Assamblea group which comprises representatives of the Social-Ecological Union, the Consumers Protection Association, the Moscow Helsinki Group and the Glastnost Protection Foundation.
