¤ I Robot is being shown at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

¤ The Viticulture and Oenology Unit of the Ministry for Rural Affairs and the Environment is organising a seminar for farmers cultivating vineyards, in collaboration with the Gozo Ministry, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Guzè Micallef Hall, The Farm, Xewkija. Fertiliser use, soil tests and the best methods to grow wine grapes will be discussed.

¤ Lectures in Theology for the Laity are being held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria. Parish priest Fr Mario Grech, JUL, JUD, will discuss 'Current sins: their nature and classification', and Fr Alex Refalo, S.Th.L., will discuss 'Spirituality in the life of the Church (history)'.

¤ The Gozo Cana Movement is holding the 34th Golden Heart Family award ceremony, part of the Family Week activities, on Saturday at 6.30 p.m. at Palazzo Palina, Hotel Ta' Cenc.

The President of Malta, Eddie Fenech Adami, will present the shield to the winning family. The Chorus Urbanus, under Mro John Galea, will perform during the ceremony.

¤ High tea on the eve of the feast of St Anthony the Abbot, being celebrated in Xaghra, is being held on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Crystal Palace Hall, Marsalforn.

There will be tombola and spot prizes. Tickets, at Lm1.25, may be obtained from Guza Bajada (New York Style Salon), Karmena Mifsud (Attard Store) or the rector of the church, Fr John Sultana.

¤ Three modules of the European Computer Driving Licence course (modules one, five and six) are to be taught from January 18 at the Minor Seminary, Victoria. Lectures will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6.30 p.m. Those interested should fill in an application form, available from the Seminary from 8.30 to 11.30 a.m., and from 1.15 to 3.30 p.m., and submit it by Friday.

¤ The Legion of Mary, in collaboration with the collegiate chapter of Xaghra and the Gozo Anglican Community, is organising the annual ecumenical service at the Basilica in Xaghra on January 19 at 6 p.m.

The service will feature hymns, prayers and messages for the occasion. The theme this year is "Christ the one Foundation of the Church" (1 Cor. 3: 1-23).
