On a positive note

While congratulating you for your excellent page, I would like to share with you and your readers a positive experience I had with King Shoe Shop of 42, Ordnance Street, Valletta.

A pair of Ecco shoes I bought in October developed a fault after some use. This came as a surprise to me since I have been wearing Ecco shoes for a long time. I have always found them comfortable and of very good quality.

I discussed the matter with Mark, the sales assistant, who politely told me he would talk to Sandro Zammit La Rosa about the matter.

After a week I was advised to call at the shop for a replacement.

I consider the service offered by Sandro and Renato Zammit La Rosa as excellent and I strongly recommend their outlets not only because this matter was solved in the best possible way for me, but also I feel that they give a very high level of importance to customer satisfaction. Finally I would also like to praise Mark, the sales assistant, for his friendly service. (Paul Caruana)

While we are on a positive note, I must apologise to those companies who were mentioned on a positive note last year but were inadvertently omitted from the list published on December 26. I shall rectify these omissions next Sunday.
