Eden plans specialised fairs

Following the success of the Modern Interiors Fair in October, which attracted more than 9,000 visitors over a four-day period, the Eden Leisure Group has embarked on series of new exhibitions and fairs at the Eden Arena.

Tomorrow, the arena is hosting the Mega Clothing Sale, which is being held over 11 days and is open in the evenings during the week and all day at weekends.

The fair has attracted a number of brand names and the idea is to have a one-stop shop for all clothing needs from jeans and other items to shoes, sunglasses and lingerie. Other fairs at the Eden Arena include the Weddings Fair in April, the specialised IT Fair in May, the Ladies Luxury Fair in June, the Book Fair in July and the Modern Interiors Fair and the Antiques Fair in October.

Pointing out the need for an exhibition centre that caters for specialised fairs, Simon De Cesare, from the Eden Leisure Group, said the arena was ideally situated in St George's Bay, offering large floor space for companies on which to exhibit and sell their products.
