This is a reminder to the Department of Inland Revenue. Just remember, December 31, 2004 is the deadline for sending refunds owing to taxpayers for year of assessment 2003. Send refunds due by December 31, 2004 and avoid paying one per cent interest per month. If the Department of Inland Revenue wants taxpayers to pay their dues on time it should set an example and do so itself.
