In what areas must the Committee of the Regions be consulted?
The constitution for Europe lays down that the Committee of the Regions must be consulted in a number of areas. They include employment policies; transport; trans-European networks; public health; environment; education and vocational training; economic, territorial and social cohesion; regional, social and development funds; energy and culture.
