Valletta-Msida, Birkirkara-Hibs to be played today at National Stadium

Matches at Corradino postponed

The inclement weather in the Maltese islands yesterday forced the MFA to revise the weekend's Premier League programme.

Two matches should have taken place at the National Stadium yesterday but these will now be played today, subject to the weather conditions.

The first match between Valletta and Msida St Joseph kicks off at 2 p.m. followed by the Birkirkara-Hibs clash at 4 p.m. The venue has remained unchanged.

The Hibernians Ground will not host any Premier League action this afternoon as the matches, Pietà Hotspurs-Marsaxlokk and Sliema Wanderers-Lija Athletic, have been postponed and will be played on a later date next month.

On Friday evening, Floriana had the better of St Patrick 2-1 in another Premier League match played at the all-weather Centenary Stadium.

At the time of writing, the three-match Division One programme for today had not been postponed. Two matches, Hamrun Spartans vs Senglea Athletic (9 a.m.) and San Gwann vs Naxxar Lions (11 a.m.), are due to be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium while Gozo meet Mqabba at the Gozo Stadium at 12.30 p.m.
