Committee of the Regions

What does the new constitution say about the Committee of the Regions?
The new constitution for Europe retains the current function enjoyed by the Committee of the Regions. This commitee consists of representatives of regional and local bodies that either hold a regional or local authority electoral mandate or are politically accountable to an elected assembly.
