Van loaded with cigarettes stolen

A 48-year-old man from Birkirkara was stopped by an armed and hooded man who stole his van which contained a quantity of cigarettes, the police said.

Both the car used by the thief's accomplices and the van were later found by the police mobile squad in Msida.

District and CID police officers are investigating.
