MY Insurance Brokers Ltd, a subsidiary of the Global Financial Services Group plc, has appointed Sean A. Agius as the company's new general manager.

In his capacity as general manager, Mr Agius will be responsible for spearheading and overseeing the day to day activities of MY Insurance Brokers.

Mr Agius has been working within the insurance industry for the past 13 years, handling a variety of risks from personal insurances to large corporate accounts, both locally and overseas. Mr Agius has obtained the Diploma in Insurance of The Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom and recently has been enrolled as a Registered Broker under the Brokers Register of the Malta Financial Services Authority.

The Global Group includes Globe Financial Management Ltd, British American Insurance Co. (Malta) Ltd, Bupa Agencies Ltd and Globe Fund Advisors Ltd, all of which are licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The group also includes Quadrant Ltd, which operates as a property management and consultancy company.
