Music and arts festival

A three-day music and arts festival was held recently at the Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar in aid of children worldwide.

The proceeds were channelled through the Mission Fund, Ananda Marga and Arka Respite Centre.

Visitors embarked on an adventure through music, ranging from ethnic to modern sounds.

The event was sparked by the travels of musician Peter Paul Galea, who was inspired by the children he encountered throughout his travels in India and south-east Asia.

His band Tribali performed together with other local artistes.

An art, sculpture and photographic exhibition was staged along with the music and all works were donated by local artists, as well as by Aw Tribu.
