TV producer and presenter Josephine Zammit Cordina has just returned to Malta from a five-week visit in Australia, where she met members of various Maltese associations and individuals who will be appearing in future editions of her programme Waltzing Matilda on TVM next year.

Ms Zammit Cordina travelled to Victoria and to New South Wales where she interviewed people from all walks of life - solicitors, medical practitioners, businessmen, community leaders, chief executive officers, tradesmen, farmers and others to a silver medallist in the Greece ParaOlympic. However, besides members of the Maltese community of the two states, she also managed to interview Steve Bracks, the Premier of Victoria.

Another meeting was with John J. Aquilina, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales. Together with Malta's High Commissioner, Dr Ivan Fsadni and Joanna Pisani, consul-general in NSW, Ms Zammit Cordina was the guest of honour at a luncheon given by Mr Aquilina in the Speaker's Chambers at Parliament House.

Filming of interviews and activities was undertaken by Joe Montebello, Waltzing Matilda co-ordinator in Victoria, and by Henry Zammit Cordina, who covered the NSW side.
