30th anniversary dinner party

The Malta China Friendship Society will seal its 30th anniversary celebrations with a dinner party on Boxing Day.

The Chinese Ambassador, Liu Zhen Xiu and his wife will attend the event, a Chinese buffet, at the Gondolier Hall, Gudja on the day at 8 p.m.

The Malta China Friendship Society was founded by its current president, former Labour MP Reno Calleja. The voluntary non-funded organisation was instrumental in promoting friendship between the Maltese and Chinese people.
