The Malta Society of Model Makers has organised a model exhibition of a vast range of ships, tugboats, warplanes and tanks, among other vessels.

The models have been displayed at the Catholic Institute, Floriana, throughout the second half of this week and continues until today at 7 p.m.

One can view a variety of models ranging from standard kits to very complex and elaborate radio-controlled ones.

The society was founded early this year, with the aim of uniting and supporting model enthusiasts. Model-making is a very old profession, which has very deep roots in our society.

Maltese modellers have very high standards and produce fine works which are very well renowned both locally and abroad. It is the society's aim to make people more aware of this profession.

Entrance to the exhibition is free.
