Move it to the Baviere

If Parliament must move from the Palace, where it has always been since the time of the Knights, through the French and British occupations and since Independence, why not move it to the Auberge de Baviere, a majestic building with long and large halls, now occupied by the Land Department?

With a fraction of the Lm18 million envisaged to be spent on the opera house site, which Malta just cannot possibly afford, I am sure that the auberge could be made suitable for Parliament. Parking for MPs is readily available opposite St Elmo.
