I received a traffic contravention fine in a hand-written window envelope with the inscription "kont bil-karozza warajk" written carelessly on it in pen. As far as I know and as published on all local media, traffic wardens are now not allowed to send fines to your home unless you are stopped, one refuses to do so, or over speeding. If this is some kind of joke, I find it very amusing but to take a day's annual leave to attend the local tribunal is not. I expect an answer from the relevant authority.
