According to the Ministry of Resources and Infrastructure, Mdina is nearing the completion of the master and conservation plan complete with its necessary measures, to have the city rising out of the Rabat skyline which in turn will merit it to be included in the Unesco list of World Heritage sites.

If Mdina is going to be the "bride" are the same steps being taken to make Rabat a fit bridegroom to accompany the Silent City?

After all Rabat has always been the companion of Mdina just like in "love and marriage" which goes so well with "horse and carriage".

One cannot raise one and leave the other behind. So, please, whoever is in charge, make sure that Rabat would prove to be a fit consort for our beautiful and unique city of Mdina.
