Six artists, all HSBC employees, have exhibited their works at the Chamber of Commerce Exchange Buildings, in Valletta, in aid of the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.

The exhibition, an annual event for HSBC, was opened by HSBC's chief operating officer, Martin Wilkins.

Jesmond Attard, Philip Borg Dingli, Tony Caruana, Philip Farrugia Randon, Tonio Mallia and Andrè Micallef Grimaud exhibited a total of 25 paintings, covering a diverse range of topics, styles and materials used, including watercolours, acrylic paintings, oils and gouache.

"The HSBC Cares For Children Fund works to improve the lives of underprivileged children in Malta and has received donations from HSBC Bank Malta in excess of Lm150,000. However, a key contributor to the fund's activities is the voluntary involvement of HSBC employees, who besides donating money give their time by participating in the fund's activities. This art exhibition is an example of the kind of support HSBC's employees are giving to the fund. HSBC supports these staff initiatives and gives its full backing to these events," Mr Wilkins said.
