A Valletta man of Somali origin was yesterday charged with injuring his baby son when he dropped him on the ground on Sunday.

Omar Osaman Omar, 25, pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring the baby and threatening and seriously injuring Luula Mohammed Hasan.

Omar was remanded in custody.

Police Inspectors Josric Mifsud and Pierre Micallef Grimaud prosecuted.

Dr Daniela Mangion appeared for Omar.
