Neglected pavement

Please allow me to draw the attention of the Valletta local council, Minister George Pullicino, Minister Francis Zammit Dimech and the Valletta Rehabilitation Committee to the disgraceful and shameful state of the pavement in Melita Street, between Merchants Street and St Paul Street, Valletta.

The pavement in question skirts the Foreign Ministry.

It is shameful that those responsible should allow such a situation right in the heart of our capital, of which we should all be proud.

May I invite other citizens to voice their views in the hope that those responsible will be urged to do their duty towards us and towards those foreign tourists whom we invite to visit our capital, the City of the Knights of Malta!
