I took up the invitation of the Environmental Landscape Consortium to visit Wied Incita but was very disappointed.

At feeding time, when cats invariably turn up, only four felines put in an appearance. Of these only one was formerly at San Anton Gardens.

The 16 or more cats trapped by individuals who were definitely not trained for the purpose (since no animal welfare organisations were involved) included a 13-year-old under regular veterinary care and a mother cat leaving her kittens behind.

Our group of cat lovers are still worried about the fate of the cats we took care of for many years.
