Dingli man dies of suspected drug overdose

A man found unconscious in Floriana on Friday has died of a suspected drug overdose, police sources said.

The man, 27, from Dingli, was found lying in Crown Works Ditch and rushed to hospital in danger of losing his life.

He died yesterday morning at 9 a.m.

The police sources said an overdose of heroin was suspected to have been the cause.

An autopsy is expected to be carried out today.
