Over 600 participants from all over Malta and Gozo are participating in a competition to produce a design that was most suited to be the official logo of the office of the Commissioner for Children.

The young people and children who were invited to take part yesterday went to the Ministry for the Family to vote for the best logo.

Commissioner for Children Sonia Camilleri highlighted the right to participation of children and young people, which was the main motivation behind this project.

The Commissioner thanked the participants and the schools, youth organisations, and children's homes who helped the children participate.

The winner will be announced on November 20, World Children's Day.
