The installation of speed cameras has reduced dangerous driving and at the same time drivers have become more prudent behind the steering wheel and at handle-bars.

Is it not high time that the Gozo Ministry and the Gozitain local councils install similar speed cameras in strategic and heavily frequented roads? Speed cameras will control road rage, especially at Gozo's only traffic lights at Mgarr Road in Xewkija.

Camera installations will have the same effect at Mgarr Road in Ghajnsielem; the lower part of Republic Street in Victoria; Racecourse Street and Marsalforn Road in Xaghra and Mgarr Road leading from Xewkija to Victoria.
