Newly qualified paramedics have not yet been given a job, the Union Haddiema Maghqudin complained yesterday.

The union had already complained about this issue in September. It now says it has written to the Health Division about the issue.

Union health services section secretary John Briffa said the union would resort to industrial action at the appropriate time.

In its letter to the Health Division the union said that following a meeting with Health Minister Louis Deguara and the Director General of Health Ray Busuttil, the union had not received an answer about the plight of these young people.
