Beangrowers have just released their third album Dance Dance Baby, the culmination of one year of very hard work by the Maltese band.

Beangrowers have just returned from an eight-day tour in Austria where they released a limited edition of the album.

All 12 tracks have been penned by the band, while the album was recorded at Temple Studios in Mistra Bay, with the production and mix in the hands of David Vella.

The new album marks a return to the band's rock roots and the sound is very guitar-based. It is quite close to their first album 48k and totally different from their second, self-titled album.

The new album's single You Are You Are hit the airwaves this week and a video-clip for the single has also been released.

Following their tour in Austria the band will play a gig in Budapest where they are headlining an alternative night and then returning to Malta.

The album will also be released in Germany, Switzerland and elsewhere next year.

Last December Beangrowers played their first concert in London and in March they were jetting to US for their first gig at the SXSW festival in New York.

The Priest, a track from their latest album was chosen for the soundtrack of the film Land of Plenty by acclaimed director Wim Wenders.

The film premiered at the Venice film festival and was later screened at other festivals in North America and Asia. It will now start showing in cinemas across the US and Europe, exposing Beangrowers to thousands of viewers and serving as a platform to launch the band in the US.
