AD support

Alternattiva Demokratika said it was supporting the Save Wied Garnaw Action Group in its appeal to Mepa to turn down the application to develop an inorganic waste separation plant.

AD spokesman on the environment Mark Causon urged Mepa and the development control commission to reject the application.

Sanctioning the development of an inorganic waste separation plant would violate the Structure Plan and showed an inability to regulate development outside development zones, Mr Causon said.
