Photographer wins UK contest category

Photographer and artist Joe P. Smith of Dingli has won the Overseas Press and PR category in the British Professional Photography Awards 2004.

The competition was held in the Midlands, England. Over 2,500 entries from around the world took part.

An annual exhibition, showing the winning images, will be travelling to a number of countries over the next 12 months.

Mr Smith has just been appointed a Fellow of the Master Photographers Association of Great Britain.
