Vodafone renews support for Winter Moods

Vodafone Malta Limited has renewed its support for top local band, Winter Moods. This follows the band's success achieved in Malta and abroad. Following the signing of the new agreement, Winter Moods' songs will soon be available as ringtones for Vodafone live! customers.

Winter Moods are currently working on new material for their next CD album. Their last CD, Butterfly House, released last year, reached the top of local music charts, and tracks from this album were very popular with local radio stations and radio listeners. Following the release of Butterfly House Winter Moods won the Best CD Album and Best Band awards at the Malta Music Awards 2003.

Alison Bezzina, brand manager at Vodafone Malta Limited, said: "Winter Moods are Malta's leading rock band. They are catalysts in their field and their music achievements are recognised both locally and abroad. After the success of the past year, Vodafone is delighted to renew its support for Winter Moods. The many fans of this band will soon be able to download their most popular songs and imagery of the band through Vodafone live!"

Winter Moods have recently returned from Germany where they performed on the main stage of Cologne's RingFest, a highly acclaimed annual music festival. This opportunity arose after the band won the Europa XXL competition organised by German radio WDR2. In recent years, the band has also performed at other international events in France, Cyprus and Italy.

Winter Moods' frontman Ivan Grech said: "This has been an incredibly busy but enjoyable year. We are delighted that Vodafone has extended its support to us.
