Dr Ronald D. Cuschieri has failed to give a reason for the removal of cats from San Anton Gardens to Wied Incita Nursery. We can only assume!

Was if because they were upsetting the consortium's precious plants? If so, are there no plants to upset at Wied Incita Nursery? Or was it, perhaps, because "most of our workers are cat lovers"? Were there not enough cat lovers at San Anton?

One might also ask by whose authority the consortium moved these cats? How does on find these cats on 140 tumoli of land? Who is supplying the "workers of the company" with food for the cats? Who will take any sick or injured cats to the vet? Who will take care of getting the cats neutered? How was the official of the SPCA to know that these were truly the cats from San Anton? Why were the other animal welfare groups not consulted before the move?

And lastly, is this going to happen in every public garden that the consortium will be landscaping?

Please let us know so we shall keep away from these gardens in future.
