The Malta Environment and Planning Authority will form part of an international consortium of 35 partners carrying out EU-funded research on sustainability impact assessment.

Mepa's policy coordination has secured a share of the EU funds that will total some €150,000 and the four-year project will start on December 1.

Mepa's role will be to examine the effect of EU policy decisions on islands.
