A Cospicua man was put on probation for three years after he pleaded guilty to the possession of heroin, cocaine and cannabis resin and breaking into a car.

Michael Zahra, 29, also confessed to breaching the conditions of a previous release and relapsing.

Police Inspector Jeffrey Cilia prosecuted.

Dr Franco Debono appeared for Zahra.
