I refer to the letter titled Bad Treatment (October 8).

I was also one of the VIP ticket holders, together with some friends of mine who attended the show given by Costantino on September 20 and I cannot but agree wholeheartedly with the comments in that letter.

When I booked the tickets I was assured that this event was going to be very well organised and that VIP ticket holders were going to queue separately. When we arrived and enquired about this, one of the organisers told me there was just one queue and I should not think that I was anything special just because I was holding a VIP ticket.

Thereafter we were sent to and fro between the organisers and Axis discotheque bouncers, no one knowing if there was to be a separate queue or not. The same thing happened when we finally managed to get inside as nobody seemed to know where the VIP area was. On booking the tickets and even while queuing outside Axis discotheque we were told that Costantino would spend time in the VIP area for the VIP ticket holders only but, of course, this was not the case either.

As it turned, out those who paid Lm6 for the normal tickets saw more of the performance than we who paid Lm10 for a VIP ticket and we never understood what was meant by VIP since not even the complimentary drink promised ever materialised!

I have attended shows and concerts both in Malta and overseas and I must say I never saw such chaos. As stated in the letter which appeared when we tried to complain we were ridiculed.

In my case it went a step further. After the show I was speaking to a friend of mine about the event and how disorganised it was and all of a sudden I was verbally abused by a girl who stood close to us who, judging by the way she attacked one of us, was very obviously the girlfriend of one of the organisers.

Thank you very much PAP promotions for such a horrible evening... we now know better than to attend something organised by yourselves!
