The Hibernians Sei Shin Kan Yoshinkan Aikido Academy, a member of the Malta Judo Federation and Associated Arts, was recently granted full membership at the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation, based in Japan.

For the occasion Sensei Saburo Takashima, who at the time was also visiting Italy, came to Malta to present the international certificate to Sensei Raymond Cutajar. During his stay Takashima trained with Maltese Aikidokas.

Besides being an uchi-deci (training partner) of Sensei Kancho Kiyoci Inoue (ninth Dan) in Yoshinkan Aikido, Takashima is also the European Administrator of Yoshinkan Aikido.

Hibernians Sei Shin Kan Yoshinkan Aikido Academy hold training sessions regularly on Mondays and Wednesdays (Advanced Class) and Fridays and Saturdays (beginners).
