Seven dead in jet crash

A Ghanaian-registered Boeing 747 cargo jet crashed and burned on take off from Halifax airport in eastern Canada yesterday, killing all seven crew on board, police said. The MK Airlines jet was taking off for Spain with a cargo of seafood at 3.55 a.m.

The MK Airlines jet was taking off for Spain with a cargo of seafood at 3.55 a.m. (6:55 GMT) when it ran into trouble.
