A Qormi man has been given a two-year jail term suspended for four years for breaking into two cars and damaging one of them four years ago.

Paul Attard was found guilty of stealing several items from the cars to the detriment of Walter Curmi Cassar and Raymond Zarb and damaging Zarb's car in Mellieha in August 2000.

He was also found guilty of being a relapser.
