Damaged car

A man was yesterday given a one-year jail term suspended for two years after he admitted to damaging a car in Birkirkara five years ago.

Kevin Borg admitted to causing Lm115 damage to the car and breaching the peace on March 1, 1999.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro ordered Borg to pay for the damage caused within six months.

Police Inspector Simon Galea prosecuted.
