The attention of Marsascala local council has often been drawn to the state of Triq il-Granmastri but unfortunately to no avail. Our families are experiencing many difficulties to get to our residence. Pushchairs/prams cannot be used since the street is in a horrible state. Besides, the flow of traffic is quite high, taking into consideration that parked vehicles are to be found on both sides of the road and many others are using it as a short cut instead of using Triq il-Gardiel, which is closed at weekends in the afternoons/evenings till midnight.

I am suggesting that the "call-it-street" be supplied with a suitable and simple concrete (cement) pavement all the way so as to help residents use this footpath using pushchairs/prams without any hassle. At the same time I would also suggest that No Parking signs be fixed at intervals along the buildings' side and that parking will be allowed only on the side of the so-called field (one can find all kinds of rubbish in it and even rats and mice!).

The location in question is calling for one-way-only signs. It is not the first time that drivers going both ways exchange some kind of abusive language when they are "trapped" and caught in traffic jams due to the very narrow street.
