A number of jerry cans full of oil fell out of a trailer while it was being driven through Marsa, close to the Addolorata Cemetery, yesterday morning, causing the oil to spill out of their containers.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were dispatched to Sir Paul Boffa Avenue to sprinkle sand on the road to reduce the danger of cars skidding on the oil, while a number of men from the freight company which owns the trailer removed the jerry cans.
