I have to say something about the attendant by the toilets at Upper Barrakka giving out the toilet paper.
I happened to be there with my wife along with my sister and her husband, that night the Prime Minister was there for some kind of meeting, and afterwards there were refreshments. This was in September a few days before our visit to Malta unfortunately was to end.
Anyway, my question is, is this person being paid by the government just to hand the toilet paper? Or is he doing it on his own to earn some extra money.
If it is the latter he should be fired, if it is part of his job it is a shame because some people do not like it. Whenever we come to visit we carry our own, just in case.
By the way Prosit for the renovation, I hope it will still be this way till my next visit.
