The marriage took place on Friday, October 8, between ADRIAN, son of Dr and Mrs Frank Bartolo of Kappara, and LYNN, daughter of the late Mr Richard Vincenti Kind and of Mrs Anne Vincenti Kind of Ta' l-Ibrag. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Tony Agius and Fr Gerald Micallef at Mary Immaculate Mother of the Church, Ta' l-Ibrag. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs Bettina Camilleri and Mr Simon Mifsud. Mr Miguel de Giorgio was best man. Mr Peter Paul Testaferrata Moroni Viani, Mr Stephen Falzon, Mr Richard Bonnici Kind, Mr Andrea Sammut and Mr Mark Testaferrata Moroni Viani acted as ushers. The bride was attended by Ms Sarah Testaferrata Moroni Viani and Ms Marija Sammut. Ms Alexia Vincenti Kind was flower-girl and Master Julian Caruana Montaldo was pageboy. A reception was later held at Le Meridien Phoenicia, Floriana.

The marriage took place on Saturday, October 2, at St Julian's parish church between KARL ANTHONY, son of Mr and Mrs Francis Cilia of Attard, and MARQUITA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Martin Joseph Spiteri of Kappara. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Martin Cilia, MSSP, the groom's cousin. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Arlette Sarah Spiteri, B.Com. (Hons), and Mr Ramon Mercieca, BA (Hons) Gen. Ms Kirsten Maira Fenech, B.Ed. (Hons) was maid of honour, while Ms Maria Francesca Spiteri, the bride's sister, was assistant maid of honour. Ms Charlotte Spiteri, the bride's sister, and Ms Lara Cilia, the groom's niece, were bridesmaids. Ms Francesca Cilia, the groom's niece, Ms Melanie Micallef and Ms Michela Micallef were flower-girls. Master Nicholas J.J. Spiteri, the bride's brother, acted as ring-bearer. Mr Albert Cilia, the groom's brother, and Mr Nicholas Clark, were best men. Mr Orlando Bonnici, B.Psy., PGCE, MIM, Mr Brian Debattista, BA (Hons) Accty, and Mr Josef Aquilina were ushers. A reception was later held at Torre Paulina, Madliena. The couple are spending their honeymoon in California and cruising the Caribbean.

The marriage took place on Sunday, October 3, between JOSEF, son of Dr Joe and Rita Pace of Swieqi, and SUZANNE, daughter of Arthur and Henrietta Tabone of Swieqi. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr John Scicluna, SJ, at St Patrick's church, Sliema. Mr Donald Tabone and Ms Loraine Heinrichs, B.Sc., witnessed the ceremony. The bride was attended by Ms Claire Pace, B.Psych., Msc (Leicester), and Dr Danielle Mallia, BA, LL.D., together with Phillippa Farrugia as flower-girl and Craig Farrugia as pageboy. Dr Ruben Grixti, MD, and Dr Simon Muscat, B.Ch.D., carried out the duties of best men, while Mr Keith Debono and Mr Jeremy Tabone acted as ushers. A reception was later held at The Palms, St Julian's. The couple are spending their honeymoon in America.

Obituary

BUHAGIAR. On October 9, at his residence in Mosta, Fr Paul Buhagiar, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother and sisters, among whom Rita, member of the MUSEUM Society, and their families, his nephews and nieces, among whom Fr Tony Sciberras, MSSP, Fr Paul Sciberras, Fr Joseph Sciberras and Sr Maria Buhagiar, OSA, his cousins, among whom Sr Josephine Buhagiar and Sr Orazia Camilleri, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Leonard's chapel, Mosta, today at 2.30 p.m. for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery.

PSAILA. On October 7, FRANCES née Camilleri, widow of Henry, aged 87, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marylene and Joe of Australia, Gladys and her husband Charles, Godfrey and his wife Doreen, Edward and his wife Bernardette, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
