I recently read that the authorities are considering introducing seatbelts in school vans. Interesting!

But why shall we bother and waste time and money, when the relevant regulation (obligatory seatbelts in rear seats in all cars) is still not being enforced? It was introduced almost a year ago and one can still see many unbelted children, who are apparently unnoticed by wardens. Recent serious road accidents involving children have also failed to alert the authorities.
