Young Enterprise Malta launches new Website

Young Enterprise Malta (YEM) has launched its new Website www.youngenterprise.org.mt, offering detailed information on the HSBC Young Enterprise Company Programme, informing students on developments and upcoming events at YEM.

YEM is currently conducting presentations at all post-secondary schools to encourage new students to take part in the 16th HSBC Young Enterprise Company Programme.

Teams wishing to take part in this year's programme are to submit their applications on the Website by Thursday. The programme will then be officially launched on October 19 with an introductory meeting for all participants at the Hilton Hotel in St Julian's. The Young Enterprise Take-Off weekend will then take place at Hal Ferh from October 22 to 24.

"Young Enterprise Malta is all set for another exciting year," YEM executive officer Rachelle Tabone said. "The response from first year sixth formers has, so far, been excellent and we are all looking forward to helping the teams taking part to make the most of this experience.

"All the preparation for this year's launch and take-off weekend are in place and by the end of this month all the teams will have started their nine-month adventure of running their own business and learning by doing," she added.

Young Enterprise aims to give students practical, hands-on, business experience, which bridges the gap between the class room and the business world, while promoting the concept of learning by doing.
