Irish interest in property in Malta for investment

For the fifth consecutive year, Frank Salt (Real Estate) Ltd recently participated in the Homes Overseas Exhibition in Dublin, Ireland. The stand was manned by senior consultant George Vassallo, assisted by the company's associates in Ireland.

Substantial interest was noted in property in Malta for investment purposes; however, there was stiff competition from Cyprus and Turkey who offered new attractive developments at cheaper prices than Malta.

"We must ensure that we do not outprice ourselves if we want to compete on the international property market. We must also try and offer a wide selection of properties at realistic prices," managing director Joseph Lupi commented.

Frank Salt and a number of overseas associates will be participating in nine other overseas property exhibitions till the end of this year. These include six exhibitions in the UK and others in Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Since these fairs are expected to generate a substantial amount of interest, Frank Salt Ltd seeks to register more properties throughout Malta and Gozo to offer to prospective buyers.
