Caroline Stapley, 16, participated in the 89.7 Bay competition by singing Ira Losco's song Love Me or Hate Me and won the opportunity to record the singer's latest single together with her.

Ms Losco and Ms Stapley recorded the song Say Hey written by ex-Characters star Ray Mercieca. The two enjoyed two days at Farmhouse Studios recording this song as a duet. They also performed the song live on Red TV programme on October 5.

Ms Stapley is over the moon for being given such a unique opportunity: "I'm very excited to be recording with Malta's top female artist, whom I admire so much," she said.

Ms Losco was also very pleased with the teenager's talent: "I admire Caroline so much since she's really into music and I believe that she can be more successful in the future," she said.

Terry Farrugia, 89.7 Bay station manager, was very pleased with the turnout for the competition.
