¤ The feast of St Francis is being celebrated at St Anthony's church in Ghajnsielem today.

At 8.30 a.m. Fr Joseph Magro, OFM, will say Mass with animation by the Fransiscan youth group GIFRA, including a mime on the life of St Francis, followed by the blessing of animals in the convent's car park at 10.

Tomorrow, the feast day proper, Fr Christopher Farrugia, OFM, will lead a concelebrated Mass at 6 p.m.

¤ An art exhibition by Chris Saliba on the natural environment in Gozo, is being held at the Banca Giuratale, on Independence Square, Victoria. It will be open till October 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekends.

¤ Melita's Mystique - one artist's dream an exhibition by young artist Vince Caruana, is being held at the exhibition hall on St Francis Square, Victoria, till October 22 during office hours.

¤ Bishop Paul Darmanin, OFM Cap., will lead a concelebrated Mass to close a week of prayer at Xaghra collegiate church, today at 4 p.m. This will be followed by a procession with the statue of Our Lady in the main streets of the village.

¤ Malta Enterprise has launched two new support schemes for SMEs in the manufacturing and related sectors on Market Entry and Internationalisaton as well as Management and Upgrade.

An information meeting on the support schemes is being held at the Malta Enterprise office at Xewkija Industrial Estate on Friday at 2.30 p.m.

¤ A concert, under the direction of Mro Ian S. Davies, is being held at the Ministry for Gozo central courtyard, on St Francis Square, Victoria, on Friday at 7.30 p.m.

¤ A Chinese weekend is being organised by the Chinese Cutural Centre at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, between Friday and Sunday. It will include a photographic exhibition and the screening of Chinese films.
