Obituary
GRECH. On September 30, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, SALVINU, aged 78, after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Evelyn, his two children Mario and Marisa, their spouses Nathalie and Ray Spiteri, his two beloved grandchildren Marsha and her fiancé Dr Karl Mercieca and Marc, besides other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SCICLUNA. On September 30, at Casa Leone, St Julian's, VICTORIA MARY née Amato-Gauci (known as Queenie), aged 94, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, loving and beloved mother of Martin and Valerie. She also leaves to mourn her sad loss her son-in-law Peter de Bono and daughter-in-law Lorie, her brother Frederick Amato-Gauci, her sisters-in-law Josephine and Jesureau, Doris and Inez, her three grandchildren Nicky de Bono and her husband Mark Holt, Michael de Bono and his wife Claire, and Justin Scicluna and his wife Wendy, her great-grandchildren Felix, Mathilda, Isabel and India, her nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel, followed by private interment.
SULLIVAN. On September 30, at St Luke's Hospital, CARMELO E. SULLIVAN, widower of Franca, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by his family, at the venerable age of 93. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Marie Rose and her husband Group Captain Franco Grima MD. RAF (Retd.), his sons John and his wife Edith, Stephen and his wife Marisa, his beloved grandchildren Adele and Andrew Cook, Mark, Alexis and Peter, Vanessa and Simon Portelli, Amanda and Francesco Depasquale, Matthew and Elena, Michael, Francesca and Ruben, John, his great-grandchildren Francesca, George, Julia, Andrea and Luke, his brothers and sisters and their spouses Salvino and Maria, Rita, widow of Joe Toledo, Harry and Lina, Maria and Walter Attard, Joe, Eddie and Lina, Rose, widow of Louis, Lilian, widow of Frank Camilleri, Therese, widow of Godfrey, Margaret and Ronnie Agius, his in-laws Connie DeBono, Joe Debono and Matty Debono, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.
