Plaque Unveiled

The Princess Royal on Thursday unveiled a plaque commemorating her visit to St Joseph Home, in Santa Venera. The ceremony took place at the end of a Royal Marine Band concert for 400 underprivileged children organised by the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.

The ceremony took place at the end of a Royal Marine Band concert for 400 underprivileged children organised by the HSBC Cares For Children Fund. HSBC's CEO Shaun Wallis (left) and the chairman of HSBC Cares For Children Fund, Catherine Gonzi (second from left) explained to Princess Anne the various programmes being undertaken by the fund. Also present for the unveiling was Fr Silvio Bezzina, director of St Joseph Home.
