The World Tourism Organisation (WTO), the leading international organisation in the areas of travel and tourism, has congratulated the Malta Tourism Authority for "being the first to efficiently use the WTO Tourism Enriches campaign".

The campaign was launched by the WTO earlier this year in Madrid as part of its global tourism awareness efforts. The MTA was the first tourism organisation worldwide to endorse the WTO's campaign when it used it as the theme for its photographic competition organised to mark World Tourism Day this year. The best entries will be included in an exhibition which will be opened on World Tourism on Monday.
